It has been an unusually quiet month at Venture as the market digests the major changes in the outlook following the Trump landslide victory. While there have been well-flagged moves in crypto and Tesla, markets have been surprisingly thin, especially in UK and European small and mid-caps.
Don’t get me wrong, there are plenty of undervalued small and mid-cap stocks, many of them excellent companies, but they aren’t going up at present. Market breadth appears to be weak. In this review, I cover the main movers and key events and look at the roll-off, which are the companies that have been on the list for a year.
